Kenalog (Triamcinolone)

At peroral usage of the drug in the form of the tablets the initial dose is 4-40 mg per day, 2-3 times. When the symptoms are improved the dosage is gradually reduced by 1 mg once per 3-4 days and brought it to the supportive dose, i.e. 1 mg per day. The treatment is made up to the full absence of the disease symptoms

Precaution

- The adjustment of the dose is needed at stomach and duodenal ulcers, acute psychosis, tubersulosis, diseases of the heart, viral infections, and mycotic infections

- If you have allergy to Kenalog, it is prohibited to take the drug

- Children aged under 6 years must not take the drug

- Kenalog is prescribed children aged from 6 to 12 years only in extreme cases

- Pregnant and breast-feeding women must not take the drug.
