Description

Mobic is the brand name for the generic drug meloxicam. This medicine comes under the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Recommendations

For treating osteoarthritis, the recommended dosage is 7.5 mg once daily. In some cases the dosage may be increased to 15 mg per day. The same dosage is followed in treating Rheumatoid arthritis too. For treating children the oral suspension is recommended as you can measure the dosages accurately. The recommended oral dosage is 0.125 mg per kg of weight of the children and this can be to a maximum of 7.5 mg per day. Precautions
