Pilex is an effective medication taken by patients to treat such conditions as high cholesterol levels in the blood, piles, hemorrhoids, atherosclerosis, arthritis and some others. For instance, Pilex may possibly contraindicated with such medications as Aspirin, insulin, lithium, warfarin, glipizide, glyburide, cyclosporine, sirolimus and some others. So, make their full list and show it to your doctor to eliminate any possible risk of experiencing dangerous drug interactions.
Side effects caused by medications can be mild, moderate and severe. When it comes to the use of Pilex, it may cause such mild adverse effects as diarrhea, unusual fatigue, skin rash, irregular menstrual periods, lower blood pressure, gastrointestinal discomfort and some others. In very rare cases, this medicine may lead to having severe side effects, and they all must be reported to doctors immediately to get medical help. If you experience such worrying symptoms as persistent diarrhea, bloody vomiting, loss of a skin color, loss of consciousness, stomach irritation and anything similar, go to the hospital at once. Finally, the intake of Pilex may rarely result in allergic reactions characterized by such symptoms as skin rash, difficulty breathing, dizziness, drowsiness, facial flushing and others. Be sure to stop taking this medication and get emergency medical help once you develop any of these side effects.
