Remeron is a fast-acting antidepressant of the broad-spectrum pharmacological action. It is used for the short-term and long-term therapy of the depressive conditions. In case of the long-term use it does not cause a physical addiction due to which it is approved by FDA for the use by patients with the symptoms of the depressive disorders within the territory of the USA.
Mechanism of the drug action consists in its ability to increase the level of noradrenaline and serotonin in the brain.
