Trazodone is an antidepressant that affects the brain chemicals, balances their amounts and improves related conditions. The medication is used to improve the symptoms of major depressive disorder, anxiety and similar issues. Additionally, the treatment can be used in other cases, not listed in the safety guide. Trazodone should not be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women, since its active ingredients can produce a harmful impact on an unborn or nursing child. Do not give the treatment to anyone younger than 18 years old.

Additionally, Trazodone can cause severe side effects if it is used in a combination with a range of medications, including muscle relaxers, sleeping drugs, seizure treatments, anxiety or depression medications, antidepressants, antibiotics, cancer medications, heart rhythm remedies, Anagrelide, Ondansetron, Methadone and others.
Stop the medication use and inform your doctor immediately if you have got painful priapism or severe allergic reaction. Besides, tell your doctor about other complications you have noticed after Trazodone use, especially panic attacks, anxiety, agitation, irritability, hostility, vision problems, severe headache, dizziness, drowsiness, vomiting, nausea, high serotonin level in the organism, low sodium range, angina, uncontrolled blood pressure, etc.
