Dementia is a serious disorder of higher nervous activity, caused by organic brain damage, and manifests itself, in the first place, a sharp decline in mental abilities. Contraindications of Trivastal and possible side effects
Among contraindications, which are listed in Trivastal prescription are hypersensitivity, hypotension, collapse, myocardial infarction (acute phase), co-administration with antipsychotics with pronounced antipsychotic properties (except clozapine), pregnancy, lactation. Actually, this list of precautions is common for many other medications and should be taken into consideration.
Trivastal medication is contraindicated in pregnancy (adequate and well-controlled studies on the use during pregnancy has not been done) and during lactation.
Anxiety, agitation, drowsiness, mental disorders, orthostatic hypotension, nausea, vomiting, flatulence - can be caused by the main substance of Trivastal while or after treatment course. But there is nothing dangerous as all these conditions pass quickly after withdrawal of the drug.
Dosing and administration of Trivastal is appointed by your treatment doctor. If you read in prescription, you will find common doses in all cases. Thus, Trivastal is taken inside with the food, 50 mg / day at a time, if necessary, 50 mg 2 times a day.
