V-Gel
Description
V-Gel is a gel that has anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial properties. The V-Gel is used in the treatment of vaginitis and cervicitis. Each gram of V-Gel contains Triphala 4mg, Satapatri, Ela, and Punarnava 3.6mg each, Shaileyam 2 mg, Nirgundi and Haridra 1.6 mg each. The ingredient Triphala is a Sanskrit name. It is a preparation of three equal proportions of Terminalia bellirica, Emblica officinalis, and Terminalia chebula. This combined preparation is an hypoglycemic agent. V-Gel is available in a tube of 30 g.
Recommendations
V-Gel is used in the treatment of vaginal candidiasis, vaginal trichomoniasis, bacterial vaginitis, and for any vaginal infections that you get after an operation. It is also used in the treatment of Cervicitis and Leukorrhea. The dosage that you use should be recommended by your physician. Hence consult your doctor for the recommended dosage for the treatment of your condition. The inflammed vagina and cervix is soothed with the application of V-Gel. Once you use V-Gel it relieves itching as quickly as possible and also expedites healing.
Using the calibrated applicator that comes with the product, you have to apply 1 or 2 gms of V-Gel twice daily. Once you have applied it is advised to wash the calibrated applicator with soap and water and keep it dry so that you can use it again when needed.
Precautions
No side effects on using V-Gel are reported. However it is better to use V-Gel in recommended dosages.
