There is no doubt that the modern human body lacks many of the essential vitamins or receives not enough largely due to unhealthy diet. But hypovitaminosis is responsible for a variety of disorders in the body.
All we know, that the main route of vitamins administration into the human body is through the digestive organs. There are some vitamins that can be obtained by injection, but this method is most commonly used in severe diseases.
There are two main groups of vitamins:

The daily dose, needed for adult is in 30 black currants or 10 hips. Fresh herbs - parsley, dill also contain a sufficient amount of vitamin of life. A smaller amount of this vitamin is found in potatoes, fresh and sauerkraut. Contrary to the belief, citrus fruits have only twice more C Vitamin, than potatoes, and 5-10 times less than currants or rose hips.
Unprecedented much vitamin C is found in walnut - 3000 mg %.
Here is a list of medicinal plants, which contains vitamin C: birch, barberry, cranberries, hawthorn, geranium, speedwell, knot-grass, St. John's wort, marjoram, goldenrod, oxalis, willow-herb, clover burnet, nettle, hazel, burdock, lemongrass, toadflax, cuff, alfalfa, pigweed, Pulmonaria, coltsfoot, wild rose - the undisputed leader.
What causes the lack of vitamin C?
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant. The substance plays an important role in the regulation of oxidation-reduction processes and also participates in the synthesis of procollagen and collagen itself. Without vitamin C, the metabolism of iron and folic acid, as well as synthesis of steroid hormones and catecholamines, is impossible.
Vitamin C protects the body from stress. With sufficient supply of "vitamin of life" increases resistance to infection, reduce the effects of exposure to allergens of diverse nature.
Moreover, this vitamin improves the absorption of iron and calcium by the body, removes toxic lead, copper and mercury.
Vitamin C tablets: how and when to apply
If you have a strong deficit of Vitamin C and canít take it from food, then, it is convenient to apply Vitamin C tablets. They are intended for the treatment of deficiency of this vitamin.
Besides, tablet form of vitamin is good for treatment and prevention of hypovitaminosis, as well as in case of:
* Increased physical and mental stress;
* In the complex treatment of colds, SARS;
* Asthenic states;
* Recovery after illness;
* Pregnancy (especially prolific, against nicotine or drug addiction).
Contraindications to Vitamin C tablets include: children up to age 18 years, long-term use at high doses (500 mg), diabetes, hyperoxaluria, nephrolithiasis, hemochromatosis, thalassemia, hypersensitivity to the drug.
The drug is taken by mouth after eating. 1 tablet is dissolved in a glass of water ( 200 mL). Tablets should not be swallowed, chewed and dissolved in the mouth.
When pregnancy, the medicine is prescribed in 250mg per day for 10-15 days.
